an experimental piece that took awhile to grow on me but is now one of my favorites of this collection. carded Navajo Churro wool gives subtle variation in color and a very strong felt. accented with dyed merino roving and trimmed to create the “shag” affect.
the wool is minimally processed once it is sheared from the sheep so there may be small flecks of vegetable matter from the fields that feed them. it is the hope that these small reminders of the lives lived will bring greater appreciation for the ways they gift us.
