our beloved sheepskin hat returns as the equinox is upon us. starting the season off with the most adored style.. the two tone. made with contrasting wool colors, this batch is unique in that its not the classic black/white combo but black/reddish brown. this color comes from the plant tannin used the tan the sheepskin that can sometimes dye the wool resulting in a beautiful rich hue. there is variation in this batch.. some will be darker then others.
the two hats in this listed have slight variations from the rest of the collection. we have one “patchwork” brim with a small patch of brown on an otherwise solid cream brim, and the other has a blue patch which was a stain from the hide when it came from the farmer- this one is slightly discounted.
